Ashland Ranch is an elementary school located in Gilbert, Arizona. Our wonderful students and teachers take such pride in our school being named as Excelling by the Arizona Dept. of Education. Our Principal and school staff are committed to providing high quality education to our nearly 1,000 students.
The PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization) is a non profit organization that helps promote the welfare of the children within Ashland Ranch Elementary, at home, at school, and in the community. We strive to bring a closer relationship between the home and the school so that parents and educators may cooperate intelligently in the education of the students. The board members of the PTSO are all volunteers and the membership is a combination of parents and teachers. We work side by side with the student council as well.
The main focus of the PTSO within the school is to help provide the teachers the best teaching tools for their classroom. These tools may be in the form of books, new technology or simply school supplies. We as parents and volunteers want to be sure our school and students are able to get a top rate education within the Gilbert Public School (GPS) system.
The objectives of this organization were developed and carried out through committees, projects and programs. There are many things that go into making a school the best it can be and each year the PTSO reaches out to the community seeking continued support of these projects and programs so that all funds rose can directly benefit our students.
